PaintLogic®

A computerized paint management system that not only replaces microfiche formula lookup, but also automates many other essential and important functions in the back-end of today's collision repair shops.

PaintLogic®, the most comprehensive and well-known paint management system in the automotive services industry, is an essential tool used in thousands of collision repair businesses around the world (utilized in more than twenty-four countries and translated into fourteen different languages). Since the software's release in 1989, it has set the standard for computerized automotive paint retrieval and management. PaintLogic's standard package offers the following basic features:

Formula Lookup. Rapid, easy access to formulas of major paint manufacturers' products.
Custom Paint Access. Conveniently records your custom paint and tinting formulas.
Label Printing. The easy-to-read label includes mixing and tinting guides, along with VOC and MSDS information.
Formula Costing. Provides total cost based on per gram costing of every formula mixed.
User Defined. Set-ups can be customized by defining particular sizes, system security, qualities, and mixing functions.
Multi-Lingual. Available in English, UK English, Spanish, and French. Each user can have their own language log-in.

All of these features work to make your paint business more efficient and more profitable.

In addition to the basic formulation package, the PaintLogic Paint Management Module may be added to provide timely accurate paint data that reduces and/or eliminates waste, saves time and money, and provides management records and reports. The software can also interface with an electronic scale to increase efficiency, ensure accuracy of a mix, and assign accountability to each mixer. The Paint Management Module provides the following enhancing features:

Usage Reports. Tracks and reports usage of all bases, formulas, and cans. Also tracks mixer productivity.
Paint Stock. Tracks related supplies and materials, allows for customized pricing, adjusts inventory levels and provides reorder suggestion based upon min/max reorder points.
Paint and Material Costing. Manages and reports paint-related expenses and provides paint costing invoices.
Repair Order Tracking. Formula tracking by RO number provides accuracy and reduces inventory shrinkage.

In compliance with many state government regulations, the PaintLogic VOC Reporting Module automates the VOC reporting process by tracking mixing ratios and compatible products by workstation, mixer, and group categories.

The PaintLogic Paint Information System is available in a ready-to-use package including all necessary hardware. However, PaintLogic software can also be purchased and installed on a customer's own computer system. PaintLogic software will run on the following operating systems:
